Registration for the Summer League will take place from May 11-21, 2012. All registrations must be completed on-line and payments received (preferably by wire transfer) prior to the first week of play.

Where: Horseshoe Beach

Cost: $400 per team

Divisions:

1. Competitive (co-ed 4′s, no restrictions)
• Tuesdays 6-8 pm (THIS LEAGUE IS FULL)
• Thursdays 6-8 pm
• Sundays 11 am – 1 pm
2. Recreational (co-ed 4′s, no A player permitted)
• Mondays 6-8 pm
• Wednesdays 6-8 pm
3. King & Queen of the Beach (individual entry)
• KOB & QOB Recreational – Sundays 9-11 am
• KOB Competitive – Mondays 6-8 pm
• QOB Competitive – Wednesdays 6-8 pm (changed from Tuesdays last year)

Space is limited, so be sure you register your team early and pay your fee to hold your spot!  Play is scheduled to begin the week of June 3rd. 

Also a friendly reminder, that all participants must be members of the BVA with up-to-date membership fees. The membership year runs from October through September…so unless you played in Winter or Spring League, you will need to complete the membership registration and pay your membership fees to be eligible to participate. See membership application under “Online Registrations” above.

The Makin Waves Beach Crap Shoot Tournament is an individual entry, co-ed beach tournament in which teams are drawn for the competition.  It is a great way to meet new people within the volleyball community and a chance to play with someone new!  Team registrations are accepted, but not preferred.   Details are as follows:

When:  June 2 (rain date June 3)

Cost:  Individual registration = $30 per person , Team registration = $120 per team

Your registration fee gets you into the tournament as well as provides you with lunch and beverages, courtesy of Corona!  Registration is open from May 18-30.  Check out the On-Line Registration links above.

Please note that teams are restricted to two “A” ranked players per team.

1.  Sponsor a team ($175 per team)

• Encourage 6 or more of your employees and spouses to play
• Little or no experience necessary
• Enjoy socializing with colleagues out of the office
• Team building, fun & challenging
• Support exercise

2.  Sponsor a net ($100 per net – up to 20 max nets)

• 4 signs per net with your logo
• Advertising on all tournament material (score sheets, schedules & pa announcements)

3.  Sponsor both a team & net ($275 per 1 team & 1 net)

• Supporting employees
• More advertising
• Supporting a local registered charity & helping the Junior National Volleyball Team
