Senior National Team
The Senior National Teams were created in 2002 in preparation for Bermuda’s first participation in the NatWest Island Games in Guernsey (2003). Since then, Bermuda’s Senior Teams have participated in the Island Games in Shetland (2005), Rhodes (2007), Aland (2009) and Isle of Wight (2011). The Men’s best ever finish was a Silver Medal in Shetland, while the Women have come in 4th place twice, losing the bronze medal match, in Rhodes and Aland.
The Senior Teams also regularly participate in the Bermuda Open, tournaments on the east coast of US & Canada and the US Open Nationals. They have also participated in the Caribbean rounds of the World Championship Qualifiers in 2009. The Men participated in first round in St. Lucia, while the Women won the first round in St. Martin and participated in the second round in Trinidad later that year.
